Description/Why will you love Triphala?
Triphala (Sanskrit; tri = three and phala = fruits), a well-recognized polyherbal combination made from the dried powder of the fruits of the plant species Emblica officinalis (Amalaki), Terminalia bellerica (Vibhitaki), and Terminalia chebula (Haritaki). This powerful fruit blend supports gastrointestinal health by promoting optimal digestion, absorption, and assimilation of the food. Being helpful in digestion, it is supporting regular bowel movements and colon health. Triphala bolsters immunity as well as encouraging the natural cleansing of the body. It promotes rejuvenation and nourishment of the tissues that enhances one’s longevity. It supports detoxification of liver from accumulated toxins and strengthens the eye. Triphala is a tridoshic formula and brings balance to all body constitutions (doshas). As per Ayurveda, Triphala is regarded as one of the greatest and more versatile herbal formulations with immense health benefits.
The power behind Triphala's many benefits comes from the individual herbs that make up the formula. Each of these herbs also have their own uses. The pulp of Amalaki fruit is a main component in the rejuvenatory formula which has a very high concentration of Vitamin C. It balances all doshas but it’s particularly effective for reducing Pitta because of its coolness. Vibhitaki another powerful ancient rejuvenator known for its detoxifying qualities on the blood, muscles, and fatty tissue of the body. This fruit is appropriate for all types of Kapha imbalances. Haritaki, due to its purifying and strengthening properties, is the most potent digestive herb in triphala that encourages colon cleansing. Due to Haritaki’s warmness, it stabilizes and calms Vata.

The fruits are green and inflated when young and yellowish and shrink (nearly seen as ribbed) when mature. The nut is stony. Why choose Athreya Triphala Capsules?
Athreya’s Triphala capsules contain Haritaki which lacks a less effective kernel. Instead, it contains the flesh of the fruits, for more effective primary action.
