CCCFT for your digestion.
Quick Answer
What is CCCFT?
The five-spice Ayurvedic digestion tea from Athreya: coriander, cumin, cardamom, fennel and turmeric, ground into one powder. One tablespoon in hot water, steeped a few minutes, drunk daily. It is the second spoonful of the four Daily Essentials.
The Five Spices
Why five spices, not three?
Most kitchens know CCF tea: cumin, coriander, fennel. Jay's formula carries the older, fuller count:
"It includes five simple spices. Coriander, cumin, cardamom, fennel, and turmeric, which we call CCCFT."
On the product page the house describes what the blend is for: helping regulate digestion by balancing Agni, supporting a healthy gut-brain connection, and promoting regular, comfortable digestion, cup by cup.

The Cup
How do you make the tea?
Watch him do it once and you have it for life:
"A tablespoon of the powder goes in, and then you add hot water on top. Look at the color. Let it steep for a few minutes."
And the finish, in his words: "So aromatic. You can feel these spices entering into your digestive system and doing their job."

Vaidya Jay's Notes
Frequently asked questions.
What is CCF tea?
The classic Ayurvedic digestion tea, named for cumin, coriander and fennel. Athreya's version is CCCFT, the five-spice original, in Vaidya Jay's words: "Coriander, cumin, cardamom, fennel, and turmeric, which we call CCCFT."
What is the difference between CCF and CCCFT?
Two more spices. CCCFT adds cardamom and turmeric to the classic cumin-coriander-fennel trio, five spices in one powder.
How do I make CCCFT tea?
Jay's own instruction: "A tablespoon of the powder goes in, and then you add hot water on top." Let it steep for a few minutes, then pour and drink.
How often can I drink it?
Daily. Jay calls it a tea for "your digestion on a daily basis," and the tradition places it with meals.
Do I need the whole Daily Essentials set to start?
No. Start with one spoonful a day. The tea stands on its own, and it is also the second of the four Daily Essentials.
