• Devadaru (Cedrus deodara) belongs to the Pinaceae family. Devadaru comes from a large evergreen tree that can grow up to 40 to 50 meters high with a 3-meter thick trunk. The tree has a conic crown with drooping branchlets and level branches. Its leaves have a needle-like shape and are usually 2.5 to 5 centimeters long. The female cones have a barrel shape and are 7 to 13 centimeters long. The male cones grow up to 4 to 6 centimeters long.
