What’s Inside Your Daily Routine Box
Tongue Scrapper
Tongue scraping is a simple and effective practice recommended in Ayurveda to help maintain oral hygiene and promote well-being.
How to use it: Gently scrape the tongue from the back to front to remove overnight buildup
and support oral health.
GUM POWDER
Healthy gums play a major role in the overall health of the mouth. They directly support healthy teeth and protect them as well. They serve as a barrier for preventing bacteria from entering the body. Similarly, healthy gums are linked with the healthy functioning of various parts of the body. Healthy Gum Powder from Athreya Herbs contains the classic Triphala blend as well as other powerful herbs which promote gum health and dental hygiene for overall oral health. Its natural qualities support various parts of the mouth, from the gums to teeth to the tongue.
How to use it: Dip a wet toothbrush into the powder and massage it onto the gums. Wait a few minutes before rinsing.
SWISH OIL
Swish Oil is a long-used and popular Ayurvedic supplement that is now gaining traction in Western medicine as well. It contains crucial nutrients with beneficial properties that directly promote oral health. Additionally, the swishing or oil pulling motion maintains a healthy mouth and even throat.
How to use it: Swish 1 tsp in your mouth for 5minutes. Spit out to draw out impurities and hydrate oral tissues.
FACE SCRUB
Healthy Face Scrub is an Ayurvedic skin product that is formulated to promote skin health and appearance. Regular use of this product ensures the skin remains healthy and moisturized from the inside out.
How to use it: Massage a small amount onto damp skin using circular motions. Rinse to
reveal naturally soft, smooth skin.
FACE OIL
In Ayurveda, Kumkumadi Thailam means saffron oil. Even though this Ayurvedic face oil contains several skin-safe herbs, saffron is its core ingredient. We follow an ancient recipe to create our exclusive infused oil that supports natural skin health and rejuvenation.
How to use it: Massage a few drops onto clean skin. Hydrates, nourishes, and promotes a natural, radiant glow.
NASAL OIL
In Sanskrit, Anu means subtle or minute. Anu Thailam is an ancient Ayurvedic formula that supports healthy opening of the head and neck region. It also promotes energy flow and supports healthy sensory functions in the eyes, ears, and nose.
How to use it: Apply 2–3 drops per nostril to lubricate nasal passages and support easy breathing.
EAR OIL
Bala Thailam promotes ear health as it nourishes the ear canal, ear structure, and helps the body produce healthy immune responses against occasional inflammation. It produces a soothing and relaxing effect on the ear nerves for optimal hearing and sound interpretation.
How to use it: Tilt your head and apply a couple of drops of warm oil into each ear. Helps to nourish the ear canals.
EYELASH & BROW SERUM
Based on the traditional eye and hair growth remedies in Ayurveda, our serum uses the botanical powers of classic Ayurvedic herbs for the natural lengthening, thickening, and conditioning of your eyelashes and brows. Athreya's proprietary blend of Jasmine, Gotu kola, Bacopa, and False daisy oils give this lash and brow-enhancing growth serum the delicate healing drive needed to ease inflammation, nourish & lubricate your brow bed and eyelash nodes, enhance circulation, and facilitate growth.
How to use it: Smooth on lashes and brows to nourish, strengthen, and encourage fuller, healthier growth.
HAIR OIL
In Ayurvedic literature, Neelibringadi Thailam is a classic Ayurvedic herbal oil that promotes hair growth, health, and luster. It prevents premature greying of hair and split ends and increases the tensile strength of hair. The herbal formula also nourishes the scalp and strengthens the hair follicles to promote the health and softness of the hair.
How to use it: Apply 1/2 tsp onto fingertips and gently massage roots to strengthen follicles and support healthy growth.
MAHANARAYANA OIL
Mahanarayana Thailam stands for 'ultimate relaxing oil'.
Ancient Ayurvedic practitioners consider it a powerful oil for healthy aging and rejuvenation. It is absorbed transdermally into the skin to revitalize and support healthy bones, joints, and muscles.
How to use it: Warm oil and massage all over to soothe muscles, support mobility, and relax the nervous system.
Daily Habit Step #1
Tongue Scrapper
Daily Routine begins with tongue scraping, using copper to gently remove overnight buildup from the tongue. This first act clears bacteria, sharpens taste perception, and sets the tone for clarity and digestion at the start of the day.
Daily Habit Step #2
Healthy Gum Powder
Next comes herbal gum care, often called the gunpowder blend. This step massages the gums, improves circulation in the mouth, and strengthens the foundation of oral health, which Ayurveda considers the gateway to the entire digestive system.
Daily Habit Step #3
Swish Oil
Oil pulling follows, using a traditional blend of sesame and warming spices. Swishing the oil cleanses the mouth, supports the teeth and gums, stimulates salivary glands, and prepares the digestive fire for the day ahead.
Daily Habit Step #4
Healthy Face Scrub
The routine then moves to the face with a gentle Ayurvedic scrub, removing buildup while awakening the skin. This is not cosmetic exfoliation but a daily ritual of renewal and awareness.
Daily Habit Step #5
HEALTHY FACE OIL (KUMKUMADI THAILAM)
After cleansing, a few drops of saffron-based face oil are applied. This oil nourishes the skin deeply, supports balance and radiance, and reinforces the idea that aging is something to be supported, not fought.
Daily Habit Step #6
HEALTHY NASAL OIL (ANU THAILAM)
Attention then turns inward with nasya oil. A small amount is placed in each nostril to lubricate nasal passages, support breathing, protect the senses, and calm the nervous system. Ayurveda views this step as essential for mental clarity and longevity.
Daily Habit Step #7
HEALTHY EAR OIL (BALA THAILAM)
Ear oiling follows, nourishing delicate tissues, reducing dryness, and supporting hearing and balance. It is a subtle practice that protects one of the body’s most sensitive gateways.
Daily Habit Step #8
Healthy Eyelash & Brow Serum
The routine continues with eyelash and eyebrow oiling, traditionally done with castor-based formulas. This step supports eye health and strength, reinforcing the Ayurvedic belief that the eyes are deeply connected to vitality.
Daily Habit Step #9
Healthy Hair Oil (Neelibringadhi Thailam)
Next is scalp oiling, often with Nili Bringadi oil. Massaging the scalp calms the mind, nourishes the hair roots, relieves tension in the head and neck, and supports restful sleep and nervous system health.
Daily Habit Step #10
