Murivenna Thailam

Athreya’s Murivenna Thailam is formulated as per the classical text of south India, SAHASRAYOGAM. This special oil was developed and used by traditional martial art teachers for supporting healing of occasional wounds, bone injuries, tendon and ligament pain.  All the fresh ingredients are extracted as fresh self-expressed juices and added and concocted with coconut oil to obtain a rich and dense oil that is perfect for coating the injured tissues and support recovery.

Coconut oil contains several active components that may promote wound healing, including: Lauric acid, Capric acid, Caprylic acid, Vitamin E and Polyphenol that are known for their antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti oxidant and tissue healing properties. Additionally Pongamia oil used in this preparation has warming properties that moisturize and support scar healing process. 
Betel leaf juice extract has several active phytonutrients, such as:
Allyl Pyrocatechol, Eugenol, Chavibetol, Eugenyl Acetate, Hydroxychavicol. Known for their antimicrobial, anti-inflammator, antioxidant properties
Moringa leaf juice extract naturally occurring Vitamin C and E that help in supporting the skin healing. It as active Flavonoids that help to smooth the affected area and support circulation. Traditionally Moringa is used in bone healing. 
Aloe gel that is infused in the oil has an excellent skin supporting action.
