*Senna (Markandika) is also known as Swarnapatri, which translates into a golden petal. Senna works well with the digestive system in addressing inconsistent bowel movements, detoxifying the colon, and eliminating Pitta. As a home remedy to improve skin health, Senna leaves can be made into a paste by adding a little amount of vinegar and applied over the face.

*Benefits include cleansing the intestines and colon, improves gall bladder secretions, remove liver stagnation, improves skin health, removes phlegm, and helps to maintain healthy body weight.
