Habit Four · The Face Scrub · lightly edited for clarity
We have the face scrub. The face scrub is the best way to gently exfoliate the skin and also tonify it at the same time. I have combined certain herbs in here based out of a traditional formula and it is really good for helping to firm the skin. I love face scrub. It's amazing.
Habit Five · The Face Oil (Kumkumadi Thailam)
And the next item is the face oil. That is my favorite because it's also a source of saffron. It's a saffron-based oil, and then we call it as healthy face oil, and that's the main ingredient as well. So it's a traditional oil that is from the Ayurvedic textbooks, and you don't need a lot. You only need a few drops of it. It has saffron and another 18 skin tone, color and skin complexion promoting herbs.
Habit Six · The Lash & Brow Serum
After the ear drops comes the eyelash serum. Eyelash serum is amazing. It not only helps with the eye health, eyelashes and eyebrows. The base is organic castor oil and then it has three classical Ayurvedic oils which will generally take care of the eye health.
Quick Answer
What is the Ayurvedic morning face routine?
It is chapter two of dinacharya, the Ayurvedic daily routine: a small amount of Face Scrub on damp skin in circular motions, a few drops of Kumkumadi Thailam — the traditional saffron face oil — pressed in, and the Lash & Brow Serum for the eyes. A few minutes, after the morning mouth routine. Every piece comes in the Daily Routine Box, and each is also available on its own.

Habit Four · The Face Scrub
How do you exfoliate the Ayurvedic way?
Gently, with herbs rather than grit, and in the morning. From Jay’s teaching:
"The face scrub is the best way to gently exfoliate the skin and also tonify it at the same time. I have combined certain herbs in here based out of a traditional formula and it is really good for helping to firm the skin."
How it is used: a small amount of the Healthy Face Scrub from Athreya on damp skin, circular motions, rinse — and the night is off.

Habit Five · The Face Oil
What is Kumkumadi Thailam?
The saffron oil, and Jay’s declared favorite of the whole routine:
"That is my favorite because it's also a source of saffron. It's a traditional oil that is from the Ayurvedic textbooks, and you don't need a lot. You only need a few drops of it. It has saffron and another 18 skin tone, color and skin complexion promoting herbs."
A few drops of Healthy Face Oil (Kumkumadi Thailam) from Athreya, pressed into the skin after the scrub. A little goes a long way.

Habit Six · The Lash & Brow Serum
Can you care for lashes and brows naturally?
Yes — the way Ayurveda has always done it, with oils:
"Eyelash serum is amazing. It not only helps with the eye health, eyelashes and eyebrows. The base is organic castor oil and then it has three classical Ayurvedic oils."
The Healthy Eyelash & Brow Serum from Athreya is applied along the lash line and brows — a rich oil in a simple applicator.
